Dr. Drew Pinksy told Access Hollywood that he hoped to apologize to Lindsay Lohan this weekend about comments he made about the 23-year-old in April, where he suggested she should be arrested.

Access' Shaun Robinson caught up with the doctor behind "Celebrity Rehab" on Sunday at the MTV Movie Awards in LA, where Lindsay was also in attendance. Dr. Drew explained that he was hoping to see Lindsay on Saturday at KROQ's 2010 Weenie Roast concert in Irvine, Calif., to offer his apology.

"We were at the same concert at the same time and she didn't show up," Drew said of Saturday's concert. "I was looking for her. I wanted to kind of reach out and try to...I don't know her and actually make a contact."

Dr. Drew explained that he hoped to make amends for his recent comments about the actress, where he said she needed time behind bars in order to get her into rehab.

"I'd apologize if I caused her any stress or any discomfort. That was not my intention at all," he said of his comments about Lindsay in April. "She suggested that I've done things that she didn't like and that was certainly not my intent."

Christina Aguilera says she's become sexier since welcoming son Max in January 2008.

"I'm more confident and comfortable in my own skin. I think I'm even a more sexual Christina," the singer, who wed husband Jordan Bratman four years ago, told the Q100 Bert Show in Atlanta Tuesday morning.

"That's part of the change of having a child for me -- seeing your body do these things you never thought possible," adds Aguilera, who will release her album, Bionic, on June 8 and kick off a world tour to promote it. “When you have a baby, you go through a period where your body is not your own. It becomes for your child and that's it. Once you bounce back from that and kind of get your body back... I feel better than ever. It's a great feeling."

Aguilera, 29, says she's a "very sexual person" and she didn't want to lose that after becoming a mother. Indeed, she and Bratman still have "Naked Sundays."

"I think it's important that he sees mommy not be ashamed for her sexuality," she says. "I mean, he's two. We're art collectors, there are a lot of female nudes around the house. Max will be growing up in a house where it's just the norm... It's only weird when you shame it...."

Max may not be an only child forever.

When asked if she wants more children, Aguilera says, "I would love that one day, but not right now. Eventually, I would like to give Max a brother or a sister, but right now, Bionic is the baby."

Aguilera also addressed online criticism that she's copying Lady Gaga with her new album.

"It just comes with the territory. That, in particular, is not even worth wasting the breath to comment on," she sniped. "I've been around for over a decade and I think my work speaks for myself."

If she were younger, "I would have engaged, been a little upset," she says. But now? "There's a bigger picture out there. I've got my son, my family, my work."

Hoping to help the "poor slobs" of the Fourth estate, Academy Award-winning actor Tom Hanks has sent the White House press corps a new espresso maker.

Hanks had famously gifted the White House press corps with an espresso maker six years ago, after visiting the break room in the press area of the White House and being appalled that there was no coffee maker.

Last month Hanks checked in on his gift, and joked that he was disappointed that it was looking a little run down.

“You know, you are supposed to clean this after every use,” Hanks remarked to reporters after picking up the filter from the old machine.

Just over a month later, Hanks sent a new “super deluxe” version of the same espresso maker to the press corp, complete with a fancy new espresso cup set.

In what her publisher describes as a "conversational, fun, and candid guide for girls looking to start out [in life] with style, " the Whitney Eve designer plans to write personal stories, and advice for young women.

"Being a twenty-something can be a difficult phase," says Port, 25. "There are so many questions, and I wanted to write about my experiences for anyone who needs help navigating through life."

Among the topics to be covered? Getting rid of puffy eyes, dressing for a date, decorating a tiny apartment, and hosting killer parties.

Adds Port: “It’s a really fun and fresh how-to-guide where I can share anecdotes that I've learned from both work and my personal life."

DAVID HASSELHOFF was admitted to hospital on Friday (27Nov09) after suffering a seizure, according to a report. RadarOnline.com claims the Baywatch star's daughter, Hayley, called emergency services when her father fell ill.

The actor was reportedly taken to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by ambulance for treatment.
Hasselhoff's neighbour, named only as Christian, tells the website, "I asked one of the paramedics how David was doing and he told me his eyes were rolling back into his head, he was drooling and that he'd had a seizure. This isn't the first time this has happened to him."

A spokesperson for the L.A. City Fire Department confirms: "Paramedics were called to (a house) in Encino for medical aid. Paramedics arrived at approximately 11:51 am and later transported the patient a nearby hospital."

The 57 year old, who has a long history of alcoholism, had allegedly been drinking in the past two days and saw one of his personal doctors on Wednesday (25Nov09) after returning from a trip to Canada.

Four Aces Singer & TV Show Host Al Alberts Dies At 87

One of the founding members of the singing group, The Four Aces, and a longtime TV talent show host Al Alberts has died at the age of 87. Read more on Al Alberts’ life and death below.

Al Alberts’ son Chris Alberts said his father died Friday at home in Arcadia, Florida from complications due to kidney failure.

Al Alberts was known for featuring child dancers and singers on hiw show “Al Alberts Showcase” for over 30 years in Philadelphia.

Alberts was also a founding member of The Four Aces, which recorded such hits as “Three Coins in the Fountain,” and “Love is a Many Splendored Thing.”

Alberts’ wife Stella said her husband had been ill for a few weeks with circulatory problems in his legs but previously had been in good health. “All of a sudden, God took him,” she said.

Steven Sacks, Mr. Alberts’ longtime cameraman, said: “He had a way with children. If they didn’t get something right, he would ask them over and over again.”

W. Carter Merbreier, TV’s Captain Noah, said Mr. Alberts “took great delight in any of them bridging the gap from his show to national fame. He could have made a business career out of squeezing them dry, but he didn’t. He was behind them the whole way.”

Mr. Alberts told an interviewer in 1985: “I have never gotten to the point during an audition where I said, ‘OK, kid, that’s enough.’ I let them have their three minutes in the sun.”

Mr. Alberts’ own career began before World War II as a piano player and singer on The Horn & Hardart Children’s Hour, which was a radio show.

He was born Al Albertini on Aug. 10, 1922. He graduated from South Philadelphia High. And shortly after the war Al Alberts and his Navy friend Dave Mahoney, Sod Vaccaro and Lou Silvestri formed the Four Aces, who first performed in a Prospect Park milk bar downstairs from a bookie joint.

Madonna sets up charity for Brazilian kid

Madonna is setting up a new Brazilian children’s charity.

The ‘Celebration’ singer met with wealthy business people and politicians during her recent five-day trip to the South American country and managed to secure a $7 million donation for Success for Kids from Brazil’s richest man, Eike Batista.

Madonna was invited to the father-of-two’s estate on the island of Angra Dos Reis on Saturday (14.11.09) to discuss the project after Batista agreed to fund a large proportion of her latest charitable venture.

During dinner, Batista - who has an estimated $7.5 billion fortune - offered to give Madonna $7 million after asking how much more she needed to set up her charity’s initial projects, leaving the pop superstar in tears.

At the meal, Madonna declared her love for the country, saying: “I worship Brazil.”

During her trip to Brazil, Madonna was accompanied by her rabbi.

Despite speculation her visit to Rio de Janeiro was to meet her Brazilian boyfriend Jesus Luz’s family, she insisted she was there to carry out humanitarian work.

Speaking ahead of her visit, she said: “I am going there strictly for fundraising and humanitarian purposes.”
