Despite rumours of a permanent split, it looks as though Ashley and Cheryl Cole are back together again.
The Girls Aloud singer turned 25 yesterday and, after receiving presents and cards at a Manchester hotel, the greatest gift came in the form of husband Ashley as he rushed to the city to be by her side.
And Cheryl couldn't contain her joy as the couple emerged from the Radisson holding hands.
Cheryl seemed delighted to be with her husband as she looked radiant in a 60's style shift dress and bright orange shoes.
Ashley attended his brother's wedding alone over the weekend, sparking further rumours that the pair were set to split.
But in their first public appearance since he cheated on the Girls Aloud singer, her smile said it all as they appear to be back on track.
Despite not wearing their wedding rings, the couple have been working on their relationship and recently spent the weekend together in Spain's Costa del Sol during a break in filming for the X Factor.
The 25-year-old was unveiled as the new judge on the hit ITV show recently and has been working hard in the lengthy auditions.
Since revelations emerged that her Premiership footballer husband cheated on her with a hairdresser, Cheryl is believed to have dropped two dress sizes.
The singer signed a reported £500,000 deal to replace outgoing judge Sharon Osbourne on the ITV talent show, joining fellow judges Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell and Dannii Minogue.
Ashley is said to be upset about Cheryl's decision to take on the X Factor job and frustrated about the timing of the show, as it means he'll have to scrap his summer holiday plans with her. via
